Our commitment

FREYAS CAT RESCUE is committed to making this website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use to browse.

Standards we build to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. In practice that means we work to provide:

• Semantic HTML structure with a single, logical heading order per page
• Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images
• Sufficient color contrast between text and background
• Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators
• A skip link to the main content
• Form fields with associated labels and clear error messages
• Layouts that reflow on small screens and at increased zoom levels
• Landmarks and ARIA attributes where they add meaning

Known limitations

Accessibility is ongoing work rather than a finished state. Some content may not yet fully meet our target, particularly where third-party components are involved. We review and improve as issues are identified.
